Dear BUES Community Member, 

During the month of January, BUES will be raising funds to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Last year we raised about $2,500 for the Webster Parish fundraiser. Our goal is to exceed this and raise at least $4,000. 

Each year we have held a talent show and art auction as our major fundraiser. This year instead of the talent show we will have a bigger family and community event called a “Club Talent Showcase”. We will have our art auction during this event. 

During the silent auction people can bid to purchase artwork made by BUES and North Webster students. Art clubs will be creating artwork but all students are welcome to submit art to sell. The Woodwork Club will be selling items at the auction also. 

I want to invite families and community members to participate in this event to support our students and raise money for St. Jude. 

Attached is a list of fundraisers that we will have in January and February at BUES. Flyers about upcoming events and fundraisers will be sent home with report cards this Friday.
